There are still many historical items that is still not exposed to the world but nonetheless Bawömataluo has its special charm to never fail to capture the uniqueness of the place by tourists.

In Hilisimaetano, there are hundreds of traditional houses and its communities live within these historical buildings, united and harmonious. There is approximately 14,000 people, making it the highest number of people in a village in the whole of Nias Islands.
